Compensation: $95,000 - $130,000 Base Salary + Bonus Potential

Overview

Our client is seeking an Analyst or Lead Analyst to support technology infrastructure initiatives across a complex commercial real estate portfolio. This individual will play a key role in evaluating, deploying, supporting, and optimizing technology solutions for commercial properties, new developments, acquisitions, and operational facilities. The ideal candidate will have a blend of hands-on infrastructure experience, operational technology (OT) knowledge, enterprise networking expertise, and exposure to smart building environments. Candidates at the Lead Analyst level will typically possess direct commercial real estate experience supporting smart building technologies, building automation systems, physical security infrastructure, and technology deployments across office, mixed-use, multifamily, or large commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support technology infrastructure deployments across commercial real estate properties, including acquisitions, property transitions, capital improvement projects, and new developments.
  • Assess existing building technologies and recommend infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and operational improvements.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise networking solutions including switching, routing, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and site connectivity.
  • Support operational technology (OT) environments including Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), access control systems, CCTV platforms, smart building technologies, and other connected property solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, integrators, construction teams, engineering groups, and property management teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist with OT/IT cybersecurity initiatives including network segmentation, secure remote access, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
  • Review low-voltage drawings, technical documentation, implementation plans, and infrastructure standards.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, support remediation efforts, and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Travel to properties as needed to support implementations, assessments, upgrades, and operational initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical resource for stakeholders while balancing hands-on execution, project coordination, and vendor management responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-10+ years of experience supporting infrastructure, networking, operational technology (OT), smart building technologies, or technology operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience within commercial real estate, property technology, construction technology, building operations, industrial facilities, manufacturing environments, oil & gas, or other multi-site environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of smart building technologies including BAS/BMS, CCTV, access control systems, managed Wi-Fi, low-voltage infrastructure, and connected building environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking including switching, routing, wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs, redundancy, and failover technologies.
  • Understanding of OT/IT cybersecurity principles, network segmentation, secure remote access, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security best practices.
  • Experience supporting facility upgrades, property acquisitions, construction projects, site transitions, or technology modernization initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical teams, vendors, property management groups, construction teams, and business leaders.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
